PETER INVASION DISCUSSES A CAREER DEFINING MOMENT, THE ESSENCE BEHIND HIS LABEL - RIOTVAN, UPCOMING PROJECTS AND MORE...

Has there been a particular moment in your career that has had the greatest impact on you as an artist?
My first band gig as a teenager. One night and I knew: This is the life.

What is something that you wish your audience knew about you or your creative process, but they likely don’t?
Behind the chaos I’m a perfectionist. Every kick, every break gets obsessively fine-tuned.

Tell us about the Riotvan project. How did it come to be?
Started as a gang of friends throwing parties in Leipzig. I turned that energy into a label. Same spirit, just pressed on wax.

Is there anything exciting on the horizon for Riotvan?
Always. New faces, unexpected collabs, a few curveballs we’re keeping quiet for now.
What is the current state of the techno scene in Leipzig? What’s the scene like there at the moment?
Raw and wide open. Intimate enough to stay real, but connected to the world.
How did you approach your set for Anomaly Radio?
Built it like a journey. Slow burn to start, pressure rising when the moment called for it.
